There are three states of matter, which are solid, liquid and gas. The solid particles vibrate extremely slow and it only vibrate in a place but the attraction between the particles are very strong. There are very little spaces between the solid particles and they have a definite shape and volume. The liquid particles vibrate faster than solid and it also can roll. The attraction between the liquid particles are moderately strong and they more amount of spaces than solid. The liquid particles shape is not definite but the volume is definite. The gas particles are the only particle that can freely move in different direction in a extremely fast speed. The gas particles can vibrate, roll and move in a straight line. The attraction between the gas particles are very weak and have a large amount of spaces between each gas particles. The gas particles did not have definite volume and shape.
The process of changing from liquid to gas is called vaporization. The liquid particles turned into gas particles when the thermal energy was added. The thermal energy causes the attraction between the liquid particles to get weaker and the spaces between the particles is getting bigger.
Part 2 of the Particle Theory
picture:
The gas particles from the pizza and the gas particles outside begin to bump into each other. The gas particles roll, vibrate and translate. The gas particles from the pizza bump into the gas particles outside and push it into the persons nose.

Speed
Everyone knows what speed is but do you know how to measure it?During the last few days, my partners and i have been measuring the speed, calculating it and graphing it. We have a runner in our group and we measure the speed with the distance and the time.
Table/Chart:
Graph:
Speed Calculation:
There are three different kind of speed. Constant speed is traveling in the same distance each second. Instantaneous speed is speed at a specific instant in time. Average Speed is the total distance traveled divided by the total time it take to travel that distance. So what is the difference between instantaneous speed and average speed? The differences the two speeds are that instantaneous speed travel in an instant while for the average speed you have to find the average of the distance with the time it takes.
For the graph, the lines are not in a straight line. At the starting point, from about 1 to 2 sec the line is a upward curve which indicates that the runner is speeding up. And from about 2 to 5 line is a downward curve which indicates that the runner is slowing down.

Report on Motion
The last few days in the science class we have been learning about motion. Motion is the process of changing position. To understand more of motion we did a test with the balloon on a string, message transportation vehicle.
(Picture of our message transportation vehicle
design)
What is motion? Motion, in general, is the
process of changing position or location. Motion comes in different forms and
ways. For example when we release the balloon, it move fast and it turn around
the straw while getting smaller. The position begins to change when we release
the air in the balloon and move because
of the force in the balloon.
We measure motion with speed, velocity or
acceleration. The way we measure speed and velocity are very similar. The
formula for velocity is v=d/t. You can measure the speed of motion by use this
formula, s=d/t. For example the distance of the string is 3.5 and one of our
times is 1.25 so it is S=3.5/1.25. S is equally to 2.8, the speed of the motion
is 2.8 . When I was researching I found out that momentum is a quality of
motion of a moving body, measured as a product of mass.
Forces are things that make motion move or
happen. Without force there is no motion. There are 2 different forces, balance
and unbalance force. Balance force is when both side are the same
size but pulling at opposite direction. For example, during tug of war both
side must have the same amount of people and begin pulling at opposite direction.
Unbalance force is when both sides are not the same size but pulling at the
opposite direction. For example, during tug of war one side have larger amount
of people than the other side and begin pulling at opposite direction.
This is the free body force diagram:
